We are considering a move to the country....only stipulations I have is I won't live in a converted shed (they are common here) and I have to have the internet. Don't mind about the rest (I am actually country born), but this is my "quilting life-line".

Horror of all horrors!
We have severe thunderstorms here in SA, so all our pc's and stuff is on UPS - gives you enough time to switch off.
And with Escom's loadshedding .... one never knows when the power goes out and how long it will last ....
But ..... at the very least, it makes me more thankful when the power comes back on ...
And the first thing you see us all do, is running to switch on our pc's and open the forums!!!:):):):lol:
