    My friend (also from Alabama) went into a little store to buy some feminine protection. The checker rang them up and said, "'Spensive, ain't they?" My friend responded with, "They sure are. Why do you think that is?" The checker put her hand on her hip and said, "'Cause they know we gots to have them." Only in the South.
