Has anybody else been getting this pop up for local shopping on the board? It is very innoying to have to deal with this. It's only on here most of the time. How do we get rid of it?

I haven't seen it, when you do copy and paste it and send a note to Admin.

I haven't seen it, either. Maybe it's something on your computer.

I think it's pretty funny that the National Guard is trying to get my 64yo body into service!

I haven't seen it here, but on my primary email address I received a fascinating offer to join the Marines.

Wanted to as a girl..well over 50 years ago. They can't seem to get the message this 76 year old body won't cut the mustard in boot camp.

Then there's the educational offers, with scholarship thrown in...I could become a correctional officer, ...well, there's about 5 or so of this type every day or so.

But this forum seems to be clean of most that sort, thank goodness and our alert gorilla guardian.

we have very few ads to live with at this board. i ignore the ones that don't interest me.

having to overlook one ad at the top and one at the bottom is fine with me. the board is free. if those two ads will cover a fraction of the cost to Admin of keeping the board going, i can't see getting wrapped around the axle about it.

It's not those ads. It's something else. Not always here just occasionally. Have been getting them a lot lately on other emails. Was just wondering if anybody else had got them. Wasn't trying to start a fight.

i hope i didn't make it sound like i was accusing you of anything. if i did, please accept my apologies. your post was not at all out of line.

you must be seeing something i don't see when i surf the board. so you were talking apples and i was responding oranges.

if you send a pm to Admin he can tell you how to send him screen shots of what you're wondering about. once he sees it he'll know whether or not it's something that needs to be fixed.
