It makes many of the comments made more interesting if we can see what part of the country people are from. Especially when commenting on weather, storms, etc.

Sadly, if someone really wants to find you, they surely will -- without QB's help.

When I first joined, I didn't know I should fill out that field. Edited later. Maybe a lot of newbies don't know either.

It took me several attempts to get my location to show and that was AFTER I finally noticed I was in hiding.

When I filled out my form and started commenting on other people's comments, or submitting my own, I always wondered why my little I.D. always said, "in hiding". Then, I don't know whether someone told me, or I just went back and looked at my form, but that part was never filled in. Now I'm not "in hiding" anymore.

When I first joined I left something blank so mine says that in Ca and I have tried and tried to put the place in later. But no luck so it still says in hiding. How does one change?

I think some of it is just not filling in the info in the profile section. It also took a couple of tries to get my avatar pic to load up. I love being ignored by a computer.

I don't worry about people finding me. I have already had one stalker, thanks to a woman who thought I would be the perfect person to get rid of her abusive son for her (no, I didn't). I have a concealed weapon permit, several guns, and a deadly aim. Don't even think of it.

I agree with all you are saying . I know it's a personal thing but I am intrigued w/ kowing where others live. Personally, I'm proud of where I live and don't care who knows it. Marge L.
