I'm not sure if anyone has ever even heard of this fashion trend born in Japan, but I thought I'd bring it here.
I was just wondering what every ones thoughts were on the fashion. I'm thinking of having a dress made for me from my own design... but I'm posting that request else where.
I'm doing mine for Halloween and is NOT over the top like some of these can be... trust me... just look at Google Images with the search as Lolita Fashion and it's outrageous... I'm more partial to the Gothic Lolita, but that is more due to not liking too much frill and bright colors.
I think all the dresses and such are awesome and if I was better with a sewing machine I could make a some money making these, but I don't have the time nor the where with all to do so.
I'm leaving a link below.

I know of it, and I love the aesthetic. I would look and feel completely ridiculous in one of those outfits, but I love it on the right people.
I hope you can strike a deal you're happy with on your dress!
