Absolutely agree with you about Penneys. Used to shop there almost exclusively. Now they don't carry anything I want to buy. I do check their sales for kids clothes, but that's about it.

Crazy as it sounds, I've found tall sizes in Walmart when shopping for my 5'11' grand daughter. But they don't have the high waist you're looking for.

Isn't this why we sew! If you can't find a pattern, take apart a pair of pants that do fit, and make a pattern from them and make what you need in any color or length needed!

Glad I'm not the only one that noticed. I used to get all my pants there. It was the one and only place I knew I could find the size/cut for me. I thought I heard that they had let a top manager go and I keep checking to see if they are going to start having the better selection they used to have. So far, no such luck, but I keep hoping.

I buy the Levi Bendover's from Blair catalog or at their online store. I'm tall as well, and a bit overweight too. BUT they have great colors and they fit very well. They are made with a gabardine fabric, wash up beautifully and last forever. I do put the crease back in about once a year. They are reasonable in price as well.

I didn't read through all of these. Did anyone suggest Maurices? My daughter needs a 36" inseam and orders her pants on them from them.
I don't think Coldwater Creek will have pants long enough for you. They aren't for me anyway and I need a 33" inseam.
