Is he not just awesome. I forget the breed name but he is a cross of Great Pyrenese, German Shepard and St. Bernard. He is a therapy dog and the kids at the store just LOVED him. He would kiss them and they would just giggle. And it was amazing to watch this beautiful dog get down on his belly to greet to papillions that came into the store. They also had a 5 month old with them that is as big as a full grown German Shepard.

he is watching the dogs at the daycare play

He is handsome. So many BIG dogs are 'gentle giants'. I love them.

Looks like a Leonberger to me. They are great therapy dogs and are definitely gentle giants. My sister has Leo's and they are wonderful dogs.

Hey that kinda sounds like the name the guy said. That may be it. I do think he looks like a big lion.

Beautiful dog and even more wonderful occupation!

Thanks, to anyone who has therapy dogs and uses them to enrich people's lives. My Dad is a long term facility and I am delighted to report that they have 3 cats, birds and one huge Old English Bulldog. Everyone enjoys them!
