Look what I woke up to

I think we got about three inches, but the sun is starting to melt it, boo hoo.
When it snows here we stay in. I had to travel to college one winter, and it was the year of the silver frost, I white knuckled it all the way there, and back, I don't drive in the snow any more.
But it is so beautiful, and we all get so excited.

I'm SO jealous! I was raised in the north but now in TN and miss it! Christmas doesn't seem right unless it's cold and snowy. Last year though the weather was so bad and icey the nursing home where 2 daughters and my mother work they had to rent half a local motel in town to make sure the staff had a way to and from work to take care of the residents. Those with 4 wheel drives volunteered to transport those that were either riders or weren't used to driving in the stuff. :|Everyone in the weather zone stay safe!!

I love looking at snow from the inside! And even better when it is in another state! New snow is so beautiful, but we forget how treacherous it can be. And falls get worse every year!
Hope I don't see any for quite a while.

One thing dear: Curtains for the sewing room (at least you can be toasty warm and happily sewing (so you don't have to see the view), of course you would want to take them down in the spring, summer and fall so you can see the view. Yep, not a fan of winter here.
