This is Monarch Colorado. It is beautiful, but I was hoping we were done with winter. What a way to finish off a vacation. It was Chains only for commercial vehicles.

Welcome to spring time in the rockies, we get April snow instead of showers and it rains in June.

Beautiful to look at, not to drive in. Hopefully we are finished with snow, still a chance until June.

It is lightly snowing here right now. Grrr... I am so sick of the cold and blowing winds.

But, I really am glad you made it home ok from that trip! It is one thing to go and expect the weather, quite another to run into it on vacation. This has happened to us before too.
