So, friends were here this weekend and we make the idiotic statement that the deer hadn't been around since the two empty lots had been cleaned up to make them fire safe.....which also removes the hiding places for deer. I'm happy because MAYBE I'll be able to have BLOOMING flowers instead of leftover stalks after the deer have dinner. So, look who came by this morning!!!! SIGH!!! :? Mama is identified by a chunk out of one ear....she's been having twins every year for the 4 yrs we've seen her.

    Definitely a fertile Mama

We don't have them close by, so don't get the frustration of the damage but they sure are fun to watch .

Did I say they were my friend????? Was bad enough they ate my daylilies last year, but then they also ate my petunias. THEN, to add insult to injury, they pooped in my raised flower bed!!!! But the LAST STRAW was when they ate my rhubarb!!!! Yeah, we're covering everything...wow - pretty yard!!! LOL LOL -- Don't get me wrong...I don't shoot animals, either.....but I DO eat them!

    ;-)

Looks like you could fill your freezer pretty easy. We have squirrels by the droves. My husband feeds them and they do not chew our things. Well, they did eat my garbage bowl when I left it on the deck. Nothing serious.
