Default looking for non quilting scarecrow pattern

I'm looking for a small (maybe 12") pattern for scarecrow made from strips of jeans & flannel shirt. As I remember it you tore strips of jeans & flannel shirt about 1" wide, layered them over a styrefoam ball, tied off below ball for neck, separated jeans into equal parts front to back, put flannel strips between to form arms, tieing off for wrists & waist, separated jean strips for legs, tied off at ankles, then cut circle of muslin for head & tied off at neck again, then painted face on it & made a hat from burlap, hot glueing in place. This is as best as I remember & I could be mistaken, never wrong, lol. Anyone as old as I am (78) who made these? I had several, accidentally sold them at garage sale now I want them again for decorations. TIA

I Googled it and found lots of cute scarecrows but non as specific as you want. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

I can remember doing something similar but you use the string mop head. It went around a styrofoam ball for the head and then separated the rest of the mop into arms and legs.
