I have the Bissell "Little Green" and I love it. However, I don't have pets so your mileage may vary, as they say! It's indispensable for doing my carpeted stairs because a big floor cleaner would just be too unwieldy.

Truly, with a cat and light carpet, getting a portable cleaner is a *great* idea, eventually cats usually have a hairball or digestion issue (read: stuff on carpet). We've had some good use out of the 'Spot Bot' cleaner, but next time I'd get one that is corded for better power. Also - warning - don't use baking soda in those little mobile cleaners -it doesn't come out very well and gunks up the works eventually.

Been looking seriously at their Little Green ProHeat model #2513G for around $119. Haven't seen a better price but will continue to compare and see who gives me the better price. Thanks all.
