Why don't you just get another iPad Mini? If you liked it? Was everything backed up to the cloud? Makes setup very easy.

Well, it wasn't backed up...too old, I think. I didn't have Find my iPad activated either which was foolish, in hindsight. I am still kicking myself as I remember photos that are gone now. Oh well. I have a regular sized iPad that I got through work that I use a lot so this one would just be really for convenience. (Both of them were earned through trainings for work). I looked at the Amazon fire on line and the reviews were mixed about the camera and storage. I probably should just go ahead and replace what I had. It does seem like the newer one (iPad) has better reviews than my old one.
    Thanks, everybody!

I like my iPad mini because it talks with my laptop (a MacPro) and my iPhone.
