I worked on a little christmas ornament that I finished in an afternoon. That helped.

Know what you are going through, lost mine for about 6months, argh....finally got it back though. You might try an activity that is not in your usual routine. When I get the creative blahs, a walk to the lake always helps. Maybe the fix has something to do with oxygen to the brain. Knitting is my other passion and I get the same problem there. Trying a small gifty project might help.

Same boat here....have all these things to do and stuck in "brain freeze". Was thinking of the movie "Break Up" were she wants him to want to do dishes...well I want to want to do all these things and just don't... I know this will pass but in the meantime really missing that "passionate purpose" that drove me for so many years....Could go clean house...but naw...it's probably not hiding under the bed. LOL Wouldn't wish this on anyone but comforting to know you are not alone....

This has happened to me so , I found a good remedy for it. I go pu;; weeds for awhile out in the heat and when I go back to my sewing room I find new inspiration to dig in again. This also happens when I get a backlog of "must dos" in the sewing area.

I am heading for the basement quilt area right now. It is going to be 90 here today and I DO NOT like the heat. When I lose my MOJO, I work on cutting up my scraps and sorting them. Give e a feeling of having accomplished something.

I lost mine after having company for 3 weeks - took me another 3 weeks to get going - in the meantime I did a lot of reading, went to a lot of baseball games, baked on cool days, and sprayed weeds. I had to have a block by last Saturday so finally at 9:30 Friday night I went in, whipped it out and got it done. Now I'm working on some embroidery, have 2 quilts pinned and ready to quilt, and my other projects organized and ready to work on. Guess I just needed a break and then needed a deadline to get going again!
