I don't suffer from depression, but have recently had surgery. My sewing saved my sanity. I hadn't discovered thid forum until last month, but my eBays groups were so supportive and caring. This forum is wonderful; continue checking in.

I'm there with you. Thanks to this board, I'm working on getting up and moving and have found some great resources for doing donation quilts.

Giving back helps keep me motivated. I even started a blog where I take a picture a day of something that I've done. It's been a life saver!

Maybe vegging out and letting ideas percolate is just one phase of your creative process. I saw the great quilts you posted a few months ago - I'll bet you'll be ready to do more before too long. Also, cut yourself some slack - just looking at fabrics and researching ideas is time well spent if it leads to something that may inspire you. Wishing you a speedy recovery!
