Machine Embroidery thread & Amazon
Has anyone purchased and used any of the machine
embroidery thread from Amazon?
I made a purchase and received my orders last week
bought the following (see pictures below). I have not
yet tried any of these threads out as I have been having
to much fun learning my new sewing family addition, which
is my Brother Innov-is 1500D. LOVE LOVE LOVE the machine.
So much quieter and easier to use than my old NV1000 machine.
12 spools of BRIGHT thread

20 spools metallics

Gold & Silver metallics 5,000 yard each spools.
When I made the purchase I missed seeing that
last zero and thought I was getting 1,000 yard
spools not a combined 10,000 yards. HOLY COW
are these spools HUGE.

To get an idea of how much bigger the big spools of metallics
are compared to regular sized spools.

I "hope" to be making a lot of FSL ornaments this year with the
gold and silver as well as all the other metallic colors I have.

The "brand name on the bright colors is: Embroidex
It seemed to work ok, but only did a little bit of wording
with it.
cost was: $13.99 (sold out, they do not know if they will
be getting anymore)
The brand name on the 20 spools of metallic is: threadsRus
I have not yet tried this thread yet, plan on it very soon though.
cost was: $58.95
As for the jumbo spools of gold & silver metallic they are same brand
as the other metallic (threadsRus).
cost was: $12.90 this IS a fantastic cost
(I spend more than that on 1 spool of Floriani metallic)
I got it all on Amazon.
I also stocked up on plastic bobbins for my Brother machines AWESOME
pricing!!

I get my Prewound bobbins @ Threatart.com, they have pretty good prices. It takes an "a", they seem to be a little higher than the "L" ,I gets 144 for about $38.00, I get the plastic bobbins, and can re use them on my Decorator"s Choice (Baby Lock), can't use them on my Baby Lock Quest, different size bobbin. I have about 300 on hand, at this point.
