We're getting the sleet now - but sounds like snow into Tuesday! Yikes - we do NOT need more - nor does anyone else - we are in good shape next to many others.......... stay warm, and be very careful out in the weather if you have to be out in it.

Has anyone else heard about this? I guess I spend too much time on the QB, because I can't remember the last time I watched or read the news...LOL.

My sister warned me, since we commute to work together.
Frugal, it must be true, my husband does storm work for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Works and he left a few hours ago to go out on storm work. He got calls from 4 different companies. I am still waiting to hear where he is headed to. Batton down the hatches I guess. Good thing I live in an apartment that has a generator so I can just keep on sewing seeing as how I have the place all to myself.

Well, here in Chicago-land it's starting to get cloudy. The Weather Channel is showing snow will start about 5:00pm tonight, but my guess it will be sooner than that. Up to 4 inches of snow tonight, and then the big storm starts early
Tuesday afternoon. I am glad I don't work tomorrow but I dread driving in this mess on Wednesday! Ugh!

The huge storm will head to Maine as well AND on the day of my hip replacement. I'm having a panic attack trying to figure out how in the world we'll drive into town to the hospital. I don't know if the police, fire, etc. would take you or not. Plus, my surgery is the first of the day so I have to be there between 6 and 6:30 am. :-(

Here in mid Missouri we have been getting freezing rain off & on since early morning. Heard on the Weather Channel not too long ago I-70 was closed near St. Louis because of tractor trailer accidents. Snow is to start late tonight & continue until Wed. morning. Depending on where you are is the amount of snowfall, we are to get 12-18 inches.
I have stocked up of food and have no intention of getting out until at least Saturday. This storm is going to be a whopper!

It started out with freezing rain, sleet and snow at 7am in NW Iowa this am. But it has been all snow from 9am and I must says it is a nice snow, but tonight when the wind picks up it will not be so nice. It is a light snow, so you know that means a lot of blowing (white out conditions). Please everyone keep safe and warm.

Just saw an Email to me about a LOT of snow. (Lead S Dakota) Wish I knew of a way to send it. The pics are really good. Puts things in perspective. I mean we're talking several feet over the house. Dormer windows dug out. Now that's too too too much snow. Stay home and sew. Be careful.

We are in the .25+ of ice zone and scarily close to the 1" of ice zone. 10-20 inches of snow (that is a big range) and wind. I think I'll be a crab this week.

I live in SW Missouri - we're bracing for the worse weather since early 1900 - or so they say - there is actually a blizzard warning out down here for tomorrow. Need I say, I'm staying home!!!
