We're getting ready to get hit too. They are predicting lots of heavy snow. And, as someone said on the tv this morning, this storm is unusual because all of the forecasters are actually agreeing and saying the same thing...:)
We usually do not lose our power. In our neighborhood all of the lines are buried so I have my fingers crossed that we won't this time.
Stay safe, everybody!

Well, looks like its started in various places in the Midwest. Standing in line at the local grocery awhile ago told me there is, indeed, a storm coming...me and everyone else in our community had the same idea. Yes, my purchases included chocolate :)...no fabric though - just food!

We already have ice and tonite the major storm is to roll in. Talking areas from 4 inches to 12inches. I sure hope not our 7 inches previously was melting pretty good. I am glad I got material so I can quilt[ heck! who's worried about food. My kids down towards Wichita area haven't had much of anything so I told them I will gladly blow some of this their way

Oldest son stopped in on his way home, complaining about the lines at the grocery store....he got around it.
He stopped here for a loaf of bread and browsed in the cabinet and the fridge...I must have known he would be stopping in. I bought an extra loaf.
