    Chester the bunny- that cat pillowcase is adorable!!!! As to your last question- I think you would just put the cuff on the opposite side so it wouldn't be upside down.

    I cut my flange piece at 3". Then I iron it in half. When I pin the flange to the pillowcase, I sew the flange at the iron mark (1 1/2" down) I iron it up and then sew the cuff the flange and the pillowcase at 1/4".

    Thank you! I did the emb before attaching the band, so the stitching would be hidden. I had enough 'music symbols' for only one case, and put music instruments on the band. Even one pillowcase like this makes a nice gift for a single person. Time to get creative!

    I received a pair and the flange was sewed down with a decorative stitch on the machine.

    I cut the main part 42" x 26" , the flange WOF x 2.5" and the cuff WOF x 10"

    I always make the sausage or burrito method. Both MSQ and Crafty Gemini have great you tube videos. You dont have to worry about the trim piece if you do it this way
