    Default Man's shirt into a throw pillow

    Can someone help me...I want to make a throw pillow out of one of my brother's shirts..
    He passed away last year...I googled but didn't find any instructions...
    Hope someone can help me figure this out...keep collar, don't keep it...etc...

    When I made them I left the collars on, sewed across the top closing it off. I cut off the sleeves, sewed the opening closed . Then I decided how big I wanted it to be ( mine I used regular standard size pillows.) Then I cut off the extra length of the shirt , put the pillow in & stitched up the opening.

    I googled "recycle men's shirt pillow instructions" and came up with several pages of hits. Some keep the collar, some remove it. Depends on the look you want. Here's one without:

    I very recently saw this pillow made from a shirt. I thought it was a wonderful idea.

    Make both a pillow and apron. For pillow you can keep collar if you want. For apron, you must keep collor. Why not make both ?
