 I feel like a mid-wife! She's looks pretty quiet... my mares weren't usually that still. But--they're all different.

She was real active just a few minutes ago, just before her human came in to check the milk....drat...just when I thought we were making progress!

I so wish I had some mares on cam...well..kind of. But you gals are so great at watching--it'd be easier for me with your help. Maybe when I retire.

    From Tracy:

Well the milk pH isn’t where it should be.

I don’t trust much except the pH dropping.

But since it can drop in a very short time we have to anticipate.

She was walking around with her tail up a lot today so I had Jen check her. She thought she should put down straw and braid her tail so she did.

So the answer is maybe… LOL

    Tracy

Shoot I wouldn't be able to stand it if I owned a Mare. LOL Just keeping an eye on these on the Cam is so exciting! I've watched Ralphie since 2 this afternoon. I would have bet anything then that she would have foaled by now. Shows how much I don't know. LOL
