I just read my PM from Karla...She says that this is definately high risk...there is a drug that can be given to hold the labor...probably already gave it...if foal comes this early...won't make it
Karla will give more update after school....

Hi ladies... sigh... yes--Sugar is way too early in this to foal. Tracy is positive she has her dates right, so no chance at a mix up. Last foal went 340 days. Dang. Her bag is bigger than Grace's. She said on the horse forum this is her most anticipated foal too. So worrisome. Foals need to be at least 300 days to have a good survival rate, but there have been a few born before that who have made it. It's tough though. Poor Tracy. Foaling is so stressful.

Thanks Karla. Has Sugar's Ph level remained high? Is her bag the only sign she may be going to deliver it early? Oh how I hope this all turns out! I would never be able to be a breeder! Yall would just have to have me put in a padded room & throw away the key! I feel so bad for Tracy & Sugar. Heck to me, Sugar looks a lot bigger than Grace. Would it be possible for her to be carrying twins?

It was a stressful morning with three people in the barn working with her, We were all so worried, You could tell she was really agitated! But I thought I saw the colt move earlier so I hope all is well, When they we massaging her tail area was that to try to prevent labor?
