That sounds doable....a foal should be able to survive that close...

Wheweeee! This is so stressful & worrisome! And I am just an internet watcher! LOL I just want the Mare & foal to both be okay. Sooooo are you saying that if she did have it now, it would probably survive if your numbers & dates are correct?

    Hang on Sugar!!!!

Do they ever redo one of those pregancy things that someone talked about earlier. I wonder? Could a new ultrasound give some definitive information as to when she's due? That probably would cost ($$$$) though. I can't remember the name of it (its what put her in heat), if Sugar was already pregnant would this hurt the fetus in anyway?

Boy oh boy, I don't know what I would do!! I'm still praying for the GOTCHA!!!

I don't know if Tracy ultrasounds at all...so I can't answer your questions sewcrafty. The meds the mares was given to go into heat would abort any fetus that was in there... so she has to go with the second set of dates. Others on the horse forum have said they had mares bag up very early--so hopefully this is the case. I haven't been following... too busy! Tracy's facebook should have the latest info.

I just looked and there are no new updates on FB. I was hoping there might be. Grace is due tomorrow.
