The last two days I have really fallen off of the wagon. Completely sabotaged myself. Probably gained the pounds I lost. Oh well. I am not complaining and I am taking full responsibility for my actions. I shouldn't let my personal problems get in my way of getting myself back into shape.

Tomorrow is a new day and a new beginning.

No, scrapnmom, Tomorrow is a new day, but right now is a new beginning. You've identified the problem, you know how to fix it, go hop to it.

Whoa, last month I said I didn't want my posterior kicked, then I write something like that. I mean no offense, please take it as it was written with concern - and maybe to myself, too.

We just want the best each other. ((Hugs))

The lawn is done and so am I. People with congestive heart failure should not mow in high temps, but there is no good fairy after you're grown. Now I need to go dump the bags and walk the dogs before the stiffness sets in. Have a good evening all.

I'm going to go see my best friend tomorrow. I haven't seen her for ages except at my SIL's funeral. I'm excited. She is a lovely, upbeat person and a joy to be around.

Hi Everyone! I have not been on as much of late, lots to do outside and such. I weighed in yesterday and only saw 1/2 lb drop in weight, but I will take any ounces that show a loss! I have been walking and doing yard work and hope to be trying for a bike to ride! Kinda switch up the excercise.. walk, ride, walk, ride different days! Hub and I have walked some evenings as well! I cannot say I can keep up two walks a day, but won't say I won't now and again. I've gotten the walk up to 1.5 mile and will add a block each time from here on out~ I need to get to the 1.5 each way and get in 3 miles. That is my goal.

    Happy dieting and exercising everyone!

My INR was 2.1 this week, too high. I just got cut from green stuff until it gets into a better range. This screws my diet as that was the very few freebies I could eat.

I think your fearless (not!) leader (double not!) is falling behind on the weight loss part. On the other hand, I'm still alive and feel so much more functional today.

I'm being bossy today, I guess. Some of you wonderful people need to get over what's "bad". Three chicken planks and one container of sauce isn't bad. Three or four orders at once is. A mini candy bar isn't bad. The whole bag is. A small blizzard once a week isn't bad. A large one every day is. Want to guess what I had for lunch today? I went to see a young friend today who had a 15 pound tumor removed from her breast Tuesday - they took the breast, too, just for insurance that the tumor won't return. I picked up lunch for her and she wanted DQ chicken wrap. I got her a sundae in a waffle bowl, too, and a small Blizzard for each for her mother and me. After that I talked to her about this being a wake up call and having to change her eating habits - no more diet soda, etc.

If there's a splurge you 'need', have a moderate portion and work it into your eating plan as sewNso did today.

I just read all the new posts. Everyone seems positive. That makes me so happy, it helps me as I was feeling really down. I had to bake for a bake sale and picked Chocolate Chip Rhubarb cake. it is to die for. Of course I couldn't take the edges that were just a little to done. I cut them off and they jumped in my mouth. Honestly I tried to keep it shut so they couldn't get in but some of them still jumped in. Now I am really mad at myself for making one of my favorite sweets to share!!! I have them all packaged up and will deliver to the sale in the AM. But I really blew my diet for a few praises of oh they are so good!! Why did I do that???

    Good evening Gang!

I'm really late checking in today. I went for my power walk then jumped in my car to go meet my niece. She needed me to show her where to buy the pots and pans her mother wants. Sweet kid. I got stuck behind a police escorted wide load tanker type thing. We went 5 to 35mph the entire way there. The thing had to literally stop at every bridge and railroad track the entire way. It was the only thing allowed on the overpass. By the time I got done following it my foot was cramping from hitting the brakes. I had to make a couple of laps around the parking lot to get it to stop cramping!

Anyway, the niece wanted to go get "a treat". She wanted ice cream, but I stuck to an iced tea. (passing up ice cream is TORTURE for me!)
I've got a busy weekend. Tomorrow is a town-wide yard sale to the south of me. Saturday is two town-wides to the NW and NE of me. Sunday I'm set to do a photo shoot if we don't get rained out. (crosses fingers!) I'm thinking I'll get lots of exercise this weekend, hopefully I can do some healthy eating too!

Gosh, there have been a lot of posts since I last checked on here. I will have to catch up on reading them.

Haven't really lost enough to mention, so I won't. Been walking my laps most days; wore my little step counter thingy a couple of days and it usually counts around 8000-9000 steps so I need to up that; been doing yard work. I just haven't gotten my heart into losing yet. Gotta give myself a stern talking to. Kids and grandkids arriving tomorrow or Saturday so maybe chasing a 2 year old for a week or so will help.

Hope everyone loses a bunch this month. I've got to buy some pastel fabric so I'll be ready for the end of the month.
