Everybody is starting out great! Write your beginning weight in RED at the top of your calendar that you use the most (or on your bathroom mirror). That way you will see a visual reminder everyday.

I'm gonna give it another try and try to stay more involved this month. The little bit I lost , well it came back; but I didn't go over my original starting weight so that is good.

I've been very achey this month so I didn't get the workouts in, I usually have this problem at change of seasons. But, I am looking forward to May and am determined to get in some kind of exercise in each day. We can do it ladies!!!

Other question. Do you use your fabric shears when you trim around your quilt to bind it? In other words, do you use it to cut batting?

Wow......some lucky person is sure gonna get a lot of FQs! Is this the normal number of folks participating? This is GREAT! Welcome to one and all.

I've prepared my lunch for tomorrow, now to get supper ready. Bought groceries today and holy cow......thinkin my retired spouse may need to find a part time job. Prices are really up on the healthy things we now buy.

Thank you, Mary and Sandy. I've been at it for a long time. The worst for me is the winters when I can't get out and walk. I live in a tiny town with no buildings to walk in so all I do is sit and sew. Eventually the weight creeps back up. Last summer and fall I was on a plateau for over four months after loosing #30 during late winter and spring. I gave up and started eating whatever again but not nearly in the quantities or at the frequency that I once did. It wasn't until January/February that my weight started to go up but once it started it wasn't long until I had put #14 back on. Now I'm hoping that I can get back on schedule and hope to loose #30 this summer and fall, maybe more if I don't plateau again.
