Canny is a dialect word here in the Geordie area of England. It can mean Lots of things. I am a good quilter, I am a nice quilter, i am a careful quilter. These are things I aspire to lol so hence the name cannyquilter.

I live in the state of Kentucky and for years I have collected bears. May have to change the bear to fabric, because I think the fabric collection is slowly moving my bears aside.

I am a country girl and a country crafter. When I tried to use either of those for my member name they were both taken and it was suggested I use a number after. I didn't want to do that, so I just decided to use a different spelling and that is how my name came about.
