    Yes, the hot flashes do get better. I had a complete hysterectomy almost 17 years ago. I was on HRT for about 5 years then I decided to just quit. My personal summers were never so bad that I would wake up from them or soak the bed in sweat. I still get them...but they are mild enough that I really don't remember the last time I had one.

    Now, sleeping through the night...that never happens because the bathroom always calls my name once or twice a night :roll: and if I can't go right back to sleep, I let the TV lull me back to sleep.

    At least the mood swings are long gone :oops:

    I have started drinking Amazon green tea and i swear it makes the flood gates open more hahaha
