Imagine lyndad how we could power the nation...:)
I never took a thing .. I rode that sucker out on the rails without a pill. My mother in law said " Oh now I know why>>"

You're right, we don't need all those power plants :)
My mother never took a thing after she had surgery, I've seen her nearly have a melt down. I took hormones for about 8 years before I learned of the side effects. I weaned myself off them.
    Know what??? LOL
    8-)

My husband - bless him - is going through menopause with me and he lived 13 years of it with previous wife. I told him he should have married an older woman this time around.

My girlfriend told me that she walks into her husbands wine storage when it gets especially warm for her. He told her she can't do that anymore because it took the temperature up 3 degrees.

I'm sitting here sweating and I'm only typing.... ARRRGGGGHHHHH

I know fans dont work and I thought I was over it until I bump into a lady aged 82 and she told me she still had them. The cooler sounds nice.

And to think that so many of us manage to survive Menopause!

Wonder why "it" is called menopause instead of menostop?
Why is it called Menopause when women have to go through it?

I made it without a pill. I felt like the top of my head was going to blow of when I had a hot flash, I can't wear a nightgown anymore (have to wear pajamas - cut to the knee). Never had a personality change or griped at husband or anything like that, so I am just here to say, it'll end, eventually. My worst moment was when I was three months shy (I think we all know what I am talking about) of being done with it forever and Mother Nature said "Not quite yet", so I had to wait for another whole year! So I have been liberated for 23 years now. Feel the same now as I did then. Only a heckuva lot more energetic!

Seriously though, I would endure every minute of every day and/or night of Menopause if it meant that my husband wouldn't have to go through Prostate problems. In a heartbeat! I am serious. It is hell for men and they can't handle this kind of stuff like women can. OK, back to making a new block. Have a nice day. Edie
