I found the Spring Valley black cohosh at Walmart. I-Cool didn't work for me, unfortunately, and was a bit expensive. The black cohosh was in the menopause treatment section. As I said, not everything will work for everyone, and all should check and make sure these things aren't contraindicated for your own situation. My doctor said it was all right for me, so I chose to go ahead. If you feel soy is somehow bad, I sure wouldn't recommend using it. I was just so thrilled to find something that worked for me and made life so much easier. I realize that menopause is just part of life, and I chose until recently to just live with it. But I realize some folks really suffer from the hot flashes more than others and know how never getting restful sleep affects us during the day. I didn't mean to bring up anything controversial, and I'm sorry if it appeared that I was prescribing or endorsing what I have found helpful as being right for everyone. We must all weight the risks versus benefits and stay informed. Good luck to everyone who is going through this stage, and I hope you fly easily through it.
