Michigan bound

Lived in Michigan most of my life and keep these links handy just in case someone asks.
There is a quilt guild in Belleville and on the first site listed below there is a link to their website. There's probably duplicate information on these sites, I only checked the first one.
Hope this helps! Sending best wishes for your relocation!

Welcome to Michigan! I returned to the state after 28yrs in TX. I'm not sure of your exact area, but there is a BIG guild in Ann Arbor that a lot of people from all over SE Michigan come to. It only meets every other month--has well known speakers and programs. There are small bees that might be of interest to you!

Welcome to Michigan, me born and raised here. Lived near (Monroe) Belleview most of my life but now live in northern Michigan. Can't help you with a guild but hope you like your new home. Northern Michigan is beautiful with lots of things to see and do. If you see The Country Register, pick up a copy (it is a newspaper and it is free) for yourself, it has quilt shops from all over the state in it plus lots of other info. Again Welcome!

There are many active quilt guilds in southeastern Michigan. I have lived in the area my entire life, turned down chances to move. One amazing perk is middle eastern food. Pink Castle fabrics has their brick and mortar location here too. Their website is pinkcastlefabrics.com
When I time it right I shop there and pick up shish tawook and fresh baked pitas on my way home.

KarenK,
I just checked out all three of the sites you suggested and my guild is not listed either as a Kalamazoo area or in Vicksburg. Quess what that mean is that the list has many but not ALL of the guilds in any given area. My guild has been about for about 12 years and has 50+ members. Wonder why we aren't included? Any way our Michigan bound gal may also find guilds listed through her local library and absolutely contact local quilt shops. They know the local quilters, guilds, long arm businesses and teachers are good sources too.
