What are you making? I do it all the time. Even when I measure twice. Sometimes my calculations are what is wrong. I may have a MS in Elementary Mathematics Education, but quilting math completely messes me up. And I was good in Geometry and Trig. I even did 4 years of calculus. I mean semesters, not years. Brain not here today

It really is funny. Cuz the night before I had called my mom and asked her how to figure the fabric for the square. Sew and cut triangles. You have to add 1 1/4" to the square.
So I got up this morning and measured and cut and away I went.
After I had sewed them up. lol I mearsured them lol
they are 11 1/2" lol yep I forgot to add the extra 1 inch.

How many squares did you cut and sew before you realized they were wrong? Could you add a 1" boarder instead of doing things over? Or heck, make them all that way and adjust to it. I rarely do over unless it is so wrong I don't like it.

I have chronic back pain all day long. But the worst is when I try to lay down. No matter what position I am in it feels like I am lying on a baseball with spikes. So I sleep sitting up. If I am leaned against my back it still hurts a little.

Yes I will use them. But these are for the Winter Block swap so I will just redo. LOL
Its like I have had this mind block on quilting for so long.
All of a sudden they dam has broken, and I have all kinds of ideas. Three quilts in progress, three more waiting, starting the Farmers wife sampler, and Winter Block swap. and loven every minute of it all.
