Fuail, isn't that the truth. Our DD is a teacher and only making near poverty level pay back east. But she always says the same thing, has to be thankful that she has a job. Their school district hasn't had a raise for 3 yrs now. Seems like couples can't make it now without both working. It's a shame, I sure wonldn't have wanted to miss out on my little ones, but now seems like it can't be helped. Bet she is glad Gramma is there to help out!

I just feel so lucky to be able to do this - It's something I know how to do! I'd like to get a job, but I haven't "worked" since 1988 - just raised 7 kids, homeschooled for 23 years and counting...

OH my heaven's. I know homeschooling is not easy, you are to be commended. And that is a huge job in itself. You are doing a great service! Do you get any time out for yourself? Do you go to the guild in Big Bear at all? Did you go to their show a Labor Day weekend?

Hey Pat I'll see ya tomorrow even if I'm a little late. Speaking of late I need to go sleepy time but I'm not sleepy. Think I'll check out some projects. Talk to you all tomorrow.

Gail: I wasn't tired when I finally went to bed,but I slept 3 hours. After being awake for about 30 minutes, slept another 3. Sorry I missed you. It is fun to chat when the rest of the world is quiet. Have a wonderful day, we will see you later, Gwyn

I have been battling problems with siatic nerve damage on the right side for several years now. Have been doing the shots but never seem to last. with you will it be a forever thing. I guess I am hoping for a quick cure becasue it keeps me from doing things with hubby. No extended walking.

What shots are you talking about? I have severe back and hip pain. I go to a pain management clinic where lots of different things are done to reduce or eliminate pain, - including destroying the nerve causing the pain. I'm doing so much better since the doctor killed the nerves causing the pain. We can't fix what is wrong, but they can make it stop hurting.
