a moment?

I know this doesn't really have anything to do with quilting, but I would like to offer a moment, or two... or several? for all troops in harms way, and a reflection for those that have given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. And kudos to all those who make quilts, pillows, or anything else for those serving, and those recovering from wounds of war.

My daughter is a US Army Soldier and during high school she ran the Soldiers Angels club at school. Its easy to google search and you can sign up for your own soldier to send mail and packages to overseas so they get a bit of something from home. The gifts are always appreciated and can be extremely simple (ie gum and candy US oh my how much they love that.. magazines.. your current issues of stuff young folk like to read).. and thank you for acknowledging all they do. I am grateful for the extreme gift they have given in the name of our Country. We decorate to the max for Veterans day, three generations of uniforms hang proudly on the wall along with flags and banners.
