I have 3 cats...two are from rescue organizations and one we rescued ourselves of the street. Our oldest is a 7 year old female brown tabby named Ginger. She is very quiet, always sleeping and pretty easy going. Our middle one is a 18 month old ornage tabby male named Pumpkin. Pumpkin is very affectionate, vocal and a big baby. The youngest is just 6 month old and a female Main Coon Mix (that is our street rescue) named Tigger. Tigger is curious, playful, very friendly and very vocal. She and Pumpkin have had an instant bond and we call her his sidekick

This is Pearl(ie), a now tamed, but still outdoor, barn cat. She is named for the necklace of white fur that circles her neck. Pearlie likes to stick her head in the front door if I open it and look around a moment to see if any thing has changed; sometimes she will come in and quickly check out each room before returning to the door and waiting for me to let her out again.
I love how she rolls over on her back and presents her soft white tummy when I come close; I call her Pearlie-Whirlie.
Here she naps on the original well house steps among the summer vinca.

My long haired Tabby loves to drag around shoestrings and howl the strangest sounds I tied a string to his mouse...I repeat his sounds back to him, but if I'm quiet, he brings the mouse to me as if to say, "I'm talking to you"! He sleeps wherever he can be touching me...a rescue that is now 12yrs old...his feet have never touched ground

I just love the pics and stories of your fur babies! It makes me know there are still a lot of kind hearted people in the world. My husband and I rescue cats, also. I am at my limit (nine outside and one inside due to medical issues) All fixed except one that I can't catch no matter what I do. Of course, it is a girl, and I really don't want any babies, but she is so smart that I can't catch her.
They all bring a lot of joy into our lives!

At one time (about 15 years) ago I had 5 rescue kittens, all from different sources. I lives in a pretty big apt complex with low rent so not the finest clientele, and everytime someone moved and left their cat (you would not believe how oftern this happens) my landlord brought me the cat. They were all wonderful with the exception of The Baby (her name was Celeste) who was a devil, and always thinking up some evil trick to play on somebody, cat or human. The she would run to the top of the cat tree and roll over twice, in a victory roll. Shae was a tiny, but fat dilute calico.

The Baby was the first one to die, about 5 years ago from an asthma attack. A man who was doing some carpentry fell in love with Sienna and pleaded so hard, that she went home with him. He got a divorce since then but he and Sienna are still together. She is a gorgeous Calico. The others were with me for a long time. Moonlight, my neuotic, badly abused, gray with a whit nose, died last year from hyperthyroidism. And my only boy Fabriz died in Jan from kidney failure. He was only sick for a couple of weeks before we noticed and took him to the vet.

All of the above were "move out" cats.

My lone girl, now, was found in a ditch by a county lineman when she was 4 weeks old. She was exhausted from walking and at first he thought she was dead. They decided she had probably walked away from a feral mother. She is now 16.

I got her as soon as she was bottle weaned. She is a beautiful long haired tortie, and has the torti attitude of "Queen of the Universe". She is a love-bug. Love me or I will bug you.

And that's the crew. My niece had my camera so long that when she brought it back yesterday I found I can't remember how to use it, but I'll try to get some picture today or tomorrow.

I really enjoyed hearing about everybody's babies. What would we do without them.

Love the fur baby pictures. I would post a picture of our wonderful pitt/rottweiler mix but my DH fixed our computer several years ago and it won't let us do pictures or anything else other than standard email. LOL
