    We must have similiar taste..... the green is the same color that I have in my kitchen and breakfast nook. The red that shows looks exactly like the wall color in my den. :lol:

    LOL I can so relate to the ordeal with the paint. I wanted my sewing room hunter green & vanilla white. Every time I'd open the door it screamed at me "too dark" so I painted over it & I thought my dad was going to have a cow. But I just didn't like it. It has to be a color that you are comfortable in. Something soothing, something that draws you there. I went with a sky blue & sponged white over it to make it even lighter! I loved it.
