Great job, I don't think there is any way my machine could do that.

The Ruby should easily be able to handle the leather or vinyl. Just make sure you use the teflon Q foot.

I used to sell the Vikings. You don't hoop stuff like that you just sorta lay them on top of the hoop and stabilizer and a bit of sticky stuff. If I remember right.

That is what I did. I no longer hoop anything I'm embroidering. I hoop the stabilizer and spray and pin my item to that. My stitching improved 200%.

The boots have a zipper so they are able to lay flat. I hooped my stabilizer, sprayed adhesive, pressed the boots onto the sticky stabilizer and held them in my hand as they stitched out. Easy peasy.

A few more items I've done in the last week or so...

    A sweatshirt for ME

I did my first craft fair over the post-Thanksgiving weekend and experimented with a fellow vendor's pop up tent. I embroidered her business name across the tent. Turned out great!

an infinity scarf for my daughter

This is the embroidery part of a sash for a wedding dress I'm making. The top will be the waistband front center, and the two lower designs will be on the end of the tails hanging from the bow. I added in the bride/groom initials to one side and the wedding date to the other. In case you hadn't guessed, their wedding is going to be a steampunk/victorian theme.
