More Thrift Store Up-cycles
I am making some things for a craft fair the end of April. I am thinking about selling the wool potholders for $5 each. What do you think? The two fish are pot handle covers, I thought these fish were really cute. The apron was made from the front of a dress. all I did was cut the skirt off and cut about 8" off the top and then reconnected it to the band. Hope you like them. If you have any suggestions, let me know.

I think I will start with $5 because these are multiple layers of boiled wool with lots of decorative stitching on them. Will come down the last hour of the show. Since the wool has already been felted it won't shrink anymore.

The price people will pay always depends on where you are. In certain areas of VA Beach $5 for a potholder like that, people wouldn't bat an eye. Here in GA where I am they would look at me like I was nuts... And of course there are always the ones who "humph I can make that" LOL
