Mothers Day musings...
Thankful that I HAD a great mom! Not a sad day at all. Some have not had great moms. I see mine in my mirror, I hear her in my head. i feel her hug from beyond. She makes her presence known in many ways. Celebrate the great moms!

Same here! I look in the mirror and see her image. My sisters and brother will often say; OMG Theresa you sound just like MOM. You are not my mother. I don't recall saying anything but she came storming out of my mouth.

I had a great Mom. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of her. When I'm having a bad day she is still there for me. I hope all of you who still have their Moms take the time to at least say Happy Mothers day to them tomorrow and that you encourage your significant other to do so also.

My mom was one of those absent parents you hear about. I was fortunate that my bestie shared hers with me. I am thankful for the Beverlys of the world, who take on other children to love and nurture. I aim to be like her.

My mother was my best friend. We did everything together. Even my GF"s in high school envied the relationship I had with my mother. She's been gone since 1985 and I still miss her. I just wish she could have lived to see her GD get married and have kids. She would have been so proud of them.

I was such a mom for a while. I loved doing it, and hope these children are as grateful as you. God bless you and your 11 mom's.

My sister, who is also my best friend, and I visited our parent's grave yesterday and that ok flowers. It was a beautiful afternoon even though cloudy, and we shared some warm and funny family memories. Her son and husband on a trip out of state and my son on a work related trip out of the country. It's the first Mother's Day we've spent together since 2002 before our mom died.
We had planned to go to see a movie (Mother's Day of course!), but it was sold out when we got there--bummer. What to do? SHOP!!! We had a great time and found some very nice bargains at Dillards. And we both received calls from our sons. It was a fabulous day and both of our sons will be back this next week so we can spend time with them.
