Congratulations! This happened to me 6 months ago. I was also looking for a new job, had interviewed, got laid off on Monday and job offer on Tuesday. Took a 4 day vacation and back to work. So glad you were able to do the same- enjoy your new job!

Yes! We had someone at my church that this happened to last year... He was a vice-president and brought 1.25 million into the company himself the year before he was fired!! He got another job the next day. I'm so happy for you, and hope your new job is one you'll enjoy!!

Thanks for all the good wishes.....the new job will be of a different sort, but I should be able to handle it.
Good luck to all of you who are still out there looking.
