I have tears in my eyes. And I'm not a dog lover.

You know how things just sort of come into your life at certain times. I have a 13 yr old dog that is going blind with hip problems. He can't go down stairs - no depth perception. A lot of times has problems walking - back legs come from out under (can go up stairs, but not down - I stand in front and sometimes hold underneath to navigate him down). But his life still is his tennis ball!!! Every night we play at least 15 min. with him (now in the house) to exercise him to try and help his hips. DH and I have been wondering what to do. He'll be seeing this video this evening. OMG!!!

I watched the video and bawled like a baby. I had a blue healer that was pretty close to that ole skippy there. Smirnoff was a very smart dog, sometimes to smart. No one could hit another person. My MIL was over with 18 month old grandson and he kept getting into things and MIL went to swat Tanners bottom........Smeery was a ways away but before my MIL could get to the GS and raise her hand to swat him Smeery had her by the pant leg and my DH only had out of his mouth MOM DOoooooooooooooooooont.

Smeery loved kitty's we had a female harlet cat, she had kittens all the time and Smerry thought he was daddy mom. He would take care of the kittens, bath them and help them to potty. He even brought home strays.

Then one day a kid in the neighborhood( we lived in a neighborhood in the country) moved away and Smeery was no where to be found. We miss him so.

Oh skipboot, he was a fantastic dog.

Skidboot is amazing. It's wonderful what dogs do for people.
The gentleman can train another dog to do the same tricks that Skidboot does. He has a real talent for training dongs. Eiltcoq.
