that double daylily is a variety called KWANZO...it was breed to be that way...its a double orange hemerocallis(daylily) and it is very invasive...you will get tons of new plants every year with that variety...here's a link that you can see them

really lovely...I have many different color daylilies. My uncle used to cross them when he first retired...a few years back, he called me to come and get them...he wasn't going to grow anything but grass in that garden anymore...

Yep, those are the kind of Daylilies I have in my yard. Neighbors on either side have the "regular" type. The deer by-pass those and eat my double daylilies !!! Must taste better, I guess.
