Last night I was on ebay checking for a ruler I wanted and we saw the bargello color wheel with a ruller. Well he looks at me and goes "Mommy you want to get that?" I said I might like it. He said mommy you should get that and we can make it it would be very cool you could do it. So like a very good mommy I had to buy it so we could make it together... (Now I just have to say this was before I decided to buy my new sewing machine :) )I will be posting this one once it is done. he is such a bad influence on me he tells me what fabric to buy he has a very good eye for that!!

(I never thought I would have another child and when we decided to have another child I went into preterm labor I was on bedrest for 5 months. He is my lifesaver I am so blessed to have this little man in my life sorry to go on like this.) Jade

It makes me smile to have you talk so fondly of your son. What a great connection you two have. You are blessed.:)

Awww, my little guy doesn't tell me that i should buy something, ( he isn't old enough yet ( 18 months) But when we are in the fabric store he will go up to fabric that he likes. My 5yo step daughter does however tell me to by stuff all the time =)

    that is so sweet!
My little man keeps asking for a sewing machine and a desk to put it on. He says just like mommies. At tax time I may have to find a little machine for him and get him started. Is 4 to young?

Oh wow, this is my story, too. I had four preemies, lost two of them in the days when we just didn't know how to care for 2 pound newborns. Both my DDs were early - one at 31 weeks, one at 34 weeks, and are strong, healthy, caring, beautiful young women of 30 and 40 years old now.

I *do* know how you cherish your son!
