Save a bite for me. Love fresh strawberries. Their season is over here, May is berry season. Don't make yourself sick eating.

*sigh* 'Scuze me while I wipe the drool from my chin...
Looks so yummy. The berries I just picked up from the supermarket don't look nearly as juicy...*drool*

I am soooo envious... it hasn't been hot enough here, our local ones just aren't as sweet as usual :(
Thank you for sharing your outing with us :D:D:D

Thank you. I enjoy having fun with them and for that very little money needs to be invested. Even a walk by the lake is a lot of fun. Wow! We may do just that tomorrow. Who wants to join us? We live right on the shore of Lake Champlain. We are always looking for Champy.

In a couple months you'll have to come visit and pick chile peppers. We have all sorts of them growing (or trying to grow if the deer will quit eating the plants) in the yard. Since we were at 99 degrees today, I can honestly say that you won't find a strawberry near here but there are lots of other things to try. Who knows, you might just like prickly pear cactus jelly (the fruit is actually good if you cut it at the right time).

So come on down, sweat a lot, and I'll make you some iced tea. :)
