Is he a Senegal? I love him. We have a dusky conure, a Quaker and a lovebird. At one point or another, they have all gone through a stage of plucking - especially after we lost our other lovebird that they all loved - but have come through it fine. You might also check him for mites.
You could call him Jay since he is "naked as a jay bird"!

I think I'd name him Jay too! Or Streak, or Flash... anyway, he's gorgeous, even with his chicken skin showing. I love the coloring on his head and wings. Does that kind of bird talk? My sister has an African Grey (Niko) and an Eclectus (Sebastian). They're both chatterboxes--they call the dogs, meow like the cats, beep like the house alarm, honk like the car locking in the garage, laugh like both my sister and her husband, and can imitate Sis's voice perfectly. It's hilarious!

my cockatoo was named baby cakes. He would have toast with me every morning ! we had him for 10 years before he got some type of flu and died before I could get him into the vet .. but sweetest loving bird for sure !
