Give me your address - I'll be right over to help you with that!! Might even bring some big, fresh brown eggs, too!

Ozark gal and Kitsie, I'll join you and prepare an asparagus quiche for you (I'll bring the cheese). Ozarkgal, I'm hoping that this will happen to me too this year. It's the fourth year for my plants. Last year, we ate it every week for a month. I keep saying to DH that I want to grow enough to put up some for winter months. He assures me that no matter how much we grow, we'll eat it NOW! So, I have two beds now, one is year 4, one year 3) and a third bed going in in a few weeks.

I wish ours had done something. We had such a warm spring that I was hoping we'd get some asparagus, but nothing! We're in Henderson, so not too far from you!

I just love asparagus and my dad used to grow it in his garden - they just keep coming up year after year.

One of our customers grows it to sell and he sent us 7 or 8 BIG bundles of fresh asparagus this week. Mummmmmmm good. I've never eaten any THAT fresh. I ate a lot raw. Really good with raspberry vinegarette (sp).
