I have one that a friend was getting rid of because she doesn't care for this type of plant. I brought it home this summer and it spent the summer on my front porch. I has rewarded me with beautiful PEACH COLORED blossoms. What a wonderful present.

I have this Christmas Cactus too. I just love it. It blooms all year. But my live ones have not bloomed this year. I wanted to get another one, but we are moving in the spring, so I'll wait until next year and hope my new home has a better spot for it.

Now that is one I would be able to 'grow'. I have all three colors and they just don't seem to bloom well. Might put them upstairs where it is a bit cooler.

I also have a yellow flowering cactus that is just beautiful, along with my pink & orange one. I keep mine outside year round except for the few nights when it's going to be close to freezing. They are on a south facing porch with overhang so they get little sun except in winter, which causes the leaves to turn red & fade. I have transplanted them only once in 6 years so it's time again, they are very root bound. Maybe i'll even start a few new ones from them.

Please advise us as to where you locate your plant during the year. I have 3 that are sharing a pot right now but need to re-pot them. After that is done it would be great to have them live in the right spot to grow and flower.
Thank you
Jan
