Flowers: Use silks and go the first of every week and buy any you will need that are on sale. I bought all my daughter's that way and saved a ton.
Reception: Put a couple of good friends in charge.

Dresses: We lucked up and bought them from Chadwicks--they even had the shoes to match. This was after a trip to Atlanta to all the wholesale places.

Keep everything simple from colors to clothing to food. I helped a friend plan one quickly and we did the decorations with some silk flowers tied with sparkly toule in great big bows for bouquets and centerpieces. Worked very well and was quick and inexpensive. Pew bows done the same way. Their dresses were bought at JCPenney and were just beautiful. Her gown she found at Davids Bridal on clearance and it fit perfectly!

Went to a summer wedding where each bridesmaid had a different color of the rainbow.
