It cost us about 13 grand each for the other two girls, and we may be able to get off a little cheaper (except there are more people probably invited this time) but to be fair we kinda need to spend that on hers. Only, there's no equity line to pull from anymore

Gayle--it's amazing how it's worked out. Jenny--son's fiancé, doesn't have a mom, or family who support her financially. So, we're it--and happily so!! I told her I'm trying to make up for her not having a mom.
Anyway, the ceremony will be in the historic Little Church right down the road: $25 for the day
Reception is in the new pavilion at the town hall: free for town residents.
Food: Jenny decided to have her grandmother organize a dish to pass. Informal cook out.
Flowers: Jenny's favorite is a lily, and it just happens my dad--who lives 2 miles from me--the Little Church is between us--raises lilies as well as Iris...so he's supplying flowers for the wedding. They need to be mixed bouquets since he needs flowers of all colors to sell them. We'll figure out how to make bouquets for the girls to carry. All the reception flowers will come from Dad's and my gardens. The girls will be in green.
Music: neither of them like to dance, so they're going to burn their favorite songs to a CD and play that.
Jenny bought her dress already, and ordered the invitations (80 coming), and ordered the cake (her grandmother did pay for that, which was wonderful). Justin bought/sold a few cars to pay for the rings and the honeymoon.
I found a photographer who will charge $700 to come for two hours only--before, during and after the ceremony. Justin wanted me to take pictures, but being mother of the groom, I decided not to try it. I'll do the reception though!
Honeymoon is going to be a few nights--road trip to Maine.
We were going to pay for catering and told them we'd cover the photographer, so will give Jenny the money instead to spend where she sees fit.
So... not too bad! :-D

Not bad at all Karla!!!!
I am hoping that Megan will have the ceremony and reception at our church, then we won't have to put out any money for location, tables, chairs, etc.
We're looking at probably over 300 people!!!

Oh gosh, I wouldn't know where to begin with that many!! Large groups of people scare me. 50/80 of the invited are Jenny's family. It'd be even smaller, but she said there are many who feel they had a hand in raising her, so she feels she needs to invite them. That's fine!
My son wants nothing to do with any decision. I guess that just makes things easier on Jenny. :-D
They just had their three year anniversary of being a couple and they've been best friends for four years.
Your new s-i-l to be looks like a gentle soul. What a grand couple they make!
