Like someone pointed out - we don't know what his overall attitude is - probably he's a nice guy - after all he's *still* married to you! :)
Mention it in passing if it's still bothering you something fierce - then let it go. Life is way too short (and sometimes quickly ended) to let a brief ill-spoken comment be something to remember. Ask any widow/widower. :(
E.T.A. Thank God I am not a widow...but I know of some who have been widowed way too early in their lives.
Kiss and make up while you can! :)

I picked up a book for my dh for Father's Day (and forgot to give to hime) called "Help! I Married a Quilter" It might help.
Since he is a guy, he probably didn't mean it as an insult. To him it was just a comment. When I started doing machine embroidery, my dh thought he was so cute going around saying, "If I don't watch out, she'll embroider on my underwear". He never said anything nice about my embroidery and I got really mad. I didn't want to be mad at him forever so I went out and bought him some really nice undies and embroidered on them. I put them in his Christmas stocking and fell out of my chair laughing when he pulled them out in front of our children. He's never made that stupid comment again!

He apologized this afternoon and said he won't do it again. He realized he shouldn't have compared me to the woman he works with and not belittle me like that.
