There is another product that works well for diabetics. it is a Creamy Petroleum Jelly - in a tube and is found at Dollar Tree and other stores. The Brand I use is "Personal Care" and also has some Vitamin E in it. I have been using it for several years. It absorbs quickly and is not greasy!

Jacquie, that's what i use too. Dr.told me about it years ago when i was having eczema issues.
another thing that works for dry, calloused feet is Bag Balm( you can find it at feed stores and occasionally a drug store). Rub some on your feet, put on a pair of socks and sleep in them.

I started using Bag Balm when I had babies. I used that on their bottoms. And use it now for anything that needs healing, and it sure does give you soft feet overnight. Been a happy customer for 40 plus years. They used to sell a tiny tin in quilt stores for sore fingers.

I have read that olive oil is the closest to our natural body oils. True or false, I don't know. I mix Vitamin E oil with olive oil and "bath" in the mixture after my shower. My dr. said lotions will dry your skin!!! When I used vaseline, noticed that water just rolled off my body when bathing. Could never wash it off. Doesn't your skin need to absorb some moisture from bathing. Think I will try the recipe with baby lotion, vaseline and Vit E. What is Vit E Save Lotion.
